Mardock Scramble: The Third Exhaust (2012) [Director's Cut]

Taking place in a futuristic city called Kamina City, Rune Ballot is a young prostitute who was taken in by the notorious gambler Shell Septinous. One night, Shell abandons Rune and attempts to murder her in an explosion. However, she is rescued and transformed into a cyborg by Dr. Easter. An Artificial intelligence in the form of a Mouse accompanies her to adapt to her new life. Rune is trained to use the advanced technology fitted on her to defend herself against Shell's attempts to have her killed to stop her from testifying against him.

Another entry and the last one. And it begins with a casino scene. So very slow and maybe even boring for some I reckon. But if you get through it, there are some really strong action scenes. The blackjack is quite interesting and well edited.

There could have been more and there was promise at the very beginning … a promise of much more. Or maybe it was just my epxectations I guess. That aside, this is well made and the animation is good. Like the second one, this has a 15 rating and while less nudity and violence than the first one, still is aimed at a mature audience. Always talking about the Directors Cut of course - did not watch the other one.
