Withered heart (2007) Corazón marchito

"Withered heart" is a simple story with complex characters, love and hate, friendship and shared loneliness, and disagreements. Where the characters face themselves and their daily circumstances, sometimes comical, droll, sometimes a little dramatic. They seek not knowing what they want, or not knowing what they will find. And when you find… Is it worth risking a wonderful lifelong friendship, a relationship that… knowing both, might not work?

This film i saw just because there was nothing else to see on DVD, and i thought well i want to waste a little time, and all the same i can fast forward it. But then the first ten minutes just grabbed me, and the story and acting are so convincing and funny, touching the reality of a part of Mexico and i am certain that of a lot of other Latin American countries. I just loved this film, is so emotive and so sincere. Way to go Lucatero Eduardo, please, continue the good job all the involved congratulations!! Give this little film with a heart an opportunity, this film is really worth to watch you will enjoy the whole time. Mexico deserves this kind of films, the people involved, make a really excellent job.
