Sam Reide has the ability of traveling to the past and works to the police department solving unresolved crimes, witnessing the events with the support of his sister Jenna Reide and reporting the criminal's identity to Detective Dan Glenn. When Elizabeth Brown that is the sister of his former girlfriend Rebecca Brown that was murdered a couple of years ago pays a visit to him, she tells that she has just found Rebecca's journal with evidences that Lonnie Flennons, who was accused for the murder, is innocent. Sam decides to witness the murder of Rebecca and his interference affects the future. He travels to the past other times trying to fix his mistakes, but every time he returns, the future is in worse condition.German
Sam Reid (Chris Carmack) besitzt die seltene Gabe des Zeitreisens und nutzt diese Fahigkeit, um fur die Polizei Morder zu identifizieren. Dabei folgt Sam strengen Regeln die er sich selbst auferlegt hat. Denn falls er auch nur die kleinste Veranderung der Vergangenheit bewirkt, so verandert sich damit auch unausweichlich die Gegenwart in die er zuruckkehrt.
Alles lauft nach Plan, bis eines Tages die Schwester seiner Exfreundin Elizabeth auftaucht. Sie uberredet Sam dazu seine Regeln zu brechen und in die eigene Vergangenheit zuruck zu reisen, um den Mord an Elizabeth zu verhindern. Bei der Ruckkehr in die Gegenwart muss er feststellen, dass er eine ganze Reihe unerwarteter Ereignisse in Gang gesetzt hat. Sam scheint auf mysteriose Weise einen Serienkiller erschaffen zu haben, denn aus einem Mord nun mehrere geworden … und nur Sam kann weitere Todesopfer verhindern.
