Brant (Jason Statham) ist ein knallharter Cop mit ungewöhnlichen Methoden. Er ist ein harter Brocken, der zuviel trinkt und keine Schwulen mag. Sein Umgangston mit Vorgesetzten ist rüde und um Vorschriften schert er sich einen Dreck. Doch er ist der beste Ermittler und so wird er auf einen Serienkiller angesetzt, der auf brutale Art und Weise Londoner Polizisten ermordet. Ausgerechnet bei diesem schwierigen Fall muss Brand mit dem schwulen Kollegen Nash zusammenarbeiten, was beiden zunächst überhaupt nicht schmeckt. Bald haben sie eine Fährte, doch der psychopatische Killer ist ihnen immer einen Mord voraus…
