DHAL ViewBox 4.0.0.99 Beta | 16 MB Viewbox is advanced software for cephalometric analysis. Developed over the period of many years, Viewbox has evolved into one of the leaders in the field and is now in use in Orthodontic Departments around the world. Designed for professional use, Viewbox can be customized to almost any task. Points, measurements and analyses are not 'hard-wired', enabling you to go beyond the confines of cephalometric radiographs and perform measurements on any kind of radiograph, photograph or other two-dimensional image. Furthermore, sophisticated algorithms are included for image enhancement, facilitation of point identification and morphometric analysis.
Radiograph Types:
Predefined: Lateral ceph, Frontal ceph, Submentovertex, Dental casts. These can be changed by the user. Other types can be user-defined. Examples include Panoramic, TMJ Tomograms, Hand-wrist, Facial photographs, etc.
Digitization:
Digitization can be performed with a digitizer or on-screen using an image of the radiograph acquired through a scanner or digital camera. WinTAB driver and TWAIN support is available. Multiple digitization of points, in order to reduce point identification error, is supported. Points can be skipped during digitization. The number of points digitized and the sequence of digitization can be user-defined.
Image Functions:
Images can be imported for digitization from a scanner or digital camera. Viewbox reads BMP, JPEG, TIFF files (uncompressed types) and some types of DICOM files, and supports the TWAIN interface for direct image acquisition. Image transparency and interactive rotation allows for structural superimposition. Image enhancement features include Equalize, Adaptive Equalize, CLAHE, Levels, Adaptive Levels, Brightness / Contrast / Gamma, Inverse and Colorize.
Morphing:
Morphing of images to produce photo-realistic pictures of post-treatment results. Morphing is based on treatment prediction of hard and soft tissue structures. Interactive morphing gives immediate feedback during treatment planning.
