What’s new in Stylus Studio 2009?
* EDI to XML Module — The EDI to XML Module lets you graphically build a Standard Exchange Format (SEF) file to help you convert proprietary EDI to XML, and vice versa. To describe customizations to an EDI standard, you can use either an instance of a proprietary EDI document, or you can select and modify one of the many EDI dialects supported by the DataDirect XML Converters that are bundled with Stylus Studio.
* EDI to XQuery Document Wizard — The new EDI to XQuery document wizard lets you create XQuery based on any of the EDI dialects supported by the DataDirect XML Converters that are bundled with Stylus Studio.
* ATIS and HIPAA EDI Support — ATIS and HIPAA have been added to the EDI dialects supported by the DataDirect XML Converters that are bundled with Stylus Studio. EDI support now encompasses ATIS, EANCOM, EDIFACT, Edig@s, HIPAA, HL7, IATA, and X12.
* License Manager for DataDirect Components — A new license manager lets you easily manage license upgrades for DataDirect XQuery and DataDirect XML Converters.
* EDI to XSD Document Wizard — The new EDI to XSD Document Wizard lets you generate XML Schema for any of the EDI dialects and message types supported by the DataDirect XML Converters that are bundled with Stylus Studio.
* Register Custom Tools Using the Command Line— You can now register custom tools using the Stylus Studio command line.
* Number Formatting in XML Publisher — The Properties window associated with the XML Publisher has a new tab, Decimal Format, that exposes properties that allow you to control how numbers are formatted in XML reports.
