    Tekla Structural Designer 2019i SP2 version 19.1.2.16 | 315.4 mb

The Tekla product team is pleased to announce the availability of Structural Designer 2019i SP2. This release includes a number of enhancements and issue resolutions.

Tekla Structural Designer 2019i Service Pack 2 - Release notes:

    Enhancements & Fixes

    - A number of additional fixes which are not detailed explicitly here are also made to improve general performance and stability. An example of such an issue is listed directly below here:
. [TSD-5585] - Steel Section Database - an exception could occur when editing the section of steel members in a model when user-defined steel sections had been added to the database with names which did not follow the expected naming format, e.g. a name such as “B1” for a Universal Beam (UB) section rather than “533(210(82))” (entering a non-standard name in the Custom Section dialog would cause a warning to be issued but was not prevented).
. This issue relates only to release 2019i and subsequent releases.
    - Notifications:
. [TSD-5123] - Design Process - the "Tekla Structural Designer has finished the design process" pop-up notification message (which was displayed following the Analyse All and Design processes at the bottom right of the screen) has been removed. Instead, a flashing TSD window and taskbar icon will appear at the end of the process, if TSD is not the active window.
. [TSD-5291] - Error Messages - a message titled “Program error!” with the following text could be issued on closing the program “Tekla Structural Designer encountered error and will terminate. Sorry for the inconvenience.” This was not a cause for concern as it related only to the Tekla Online Side Panel and its underlying application (it would occur only when the panel had been expanded during a program session). Program files and general operation were unaffected. However the message could cause concern and is fixed in this release.
.. This issue relates only to release 2019i and subsequent releases.

[TSD-5324] - Panel Loads - Slab Load - when a slab item was moved from one slab to another, any 'Slab' panel load on the first slab was incorrectly displayed on the second slab. While the load was not duplicated in the analysis, it was double counted in the Load Summary check resulting in a loading mis-match being falsely reported. The duplicated graphical display of the load persisted until the model was saved and reopened. This is now corrected so that when a slab item is moved from one slab to another:

    - When the "new slab" option is NOT used, the slab item is assigned the 'Slab' panel load from the new parent slab.
    - When the "new slab" option is used, the slab item is assigned a 'Slab' panel load which is identical to the one on the original parent slab.
    - Note that this issue relates only to release 2019 SP3 (v19.0.3.44) - in which moving of slab items to new/existing slabs was introduced - and subsequent releases.

[TSD-3158] - Concrete Design - Columns - All Design Codes - for columns with a 2nd layer of reinforcement, the Design Details Longitudinal Bars summary table is now enhanced to list the number of bars in each layer as shown in the picture below: additional text “(X + Y)” is added after the total bar No. and size, where X is the No. of bars in the outer layer and Y the No. in the inner layer.

    - Note that when the principal bar (corner bars in outside layer) size is different to that of the intermediate bars, then X and Y refer only to the intermediate bars. Hence in this case the text would be for example: “4H20 + 12H16 (8 + 4)”

    Tekla Structural Designer 2019i SP2 version 19.1.2.16

[TSD-2900] - Report - Foundation Reactions - results for column supports were not included in the report for Foundation Reaction items to which a UDA filter was applied. This issue is fixed in this release.
