Siemens Solid Edge ST5 MP06 Update | 268.2 mb
Siemens PLM Software, a business unit of the Siemens Industry Automation Division and a leading global provider of product lifecycle management (PLM) software and services, announced the release of Solid Edge ST5, with advances in core design capabilities aimed at helping users develop better products faster. The latest Solid Edge release also contains more than 1,300 new customer-driven productivity enhancements.
Product: Solid Edge
Version: 105.00.06.04
Date: 10-Apr-2013
Note: Maintenance Packs are all inclusive and can be installed on top of the base
release or any released Maintenance Pack.
This Maintenance Pack can be installed on top of Version:
105.00.00.102, 105.00.01.15, 105.00.02.06, 105.00.03.03, 105.00.04.03, or 105.00.05.01.
–- Windows 8 –-
Solid Edge ST6 will be the first release to support Windows 8.
Solid Edge ST5 does not support Windows 8. Any ST5 issues that are
specific to Windows 8 or IE 10 cannot be addressed until ST6.
Based on limited testing, most Solid Edge operations (Part, Sheet Metal,
Assembly and Draft) work the same as on Windows 7 and Windows 8. On
Windows 8, we highly recommend installing Solid Edge ST5 to a non-default
location (somewhere other than the default Program Files folder).
In some cases, .NET 3.5 had to be manually activated to use Solid Edge
Tutorials, Insight, and Simulation Express.
Solid Edge License Utility, License Borrowing, Embedded Client, Insight
XT, Web Publisher, and Engineering Reference have known problems on
Windows 8 and will not work successfully with ST5.
