PathWave EM Design (EmPro) 2022 Update 0.1

The Keysight Technologies Inc. development team is pleased to announce the availability of PathWave EM Design (EmPro) 2022 Update 0.1. This update addresses bugs in the platform related to geometry creation and encrypted part/assembly creation and rendering.

PathWave EM Design 2022 Update 0.1 Release notes
The PathWave EM Design (EMPro) 2022 Update 0.1 release includes the following bug fixes. It is also the recommended release to be used in conjunction with ADS 2022 Update 1.

Issues Fixed
- Fixed the following issues related to encrypting components:
. Fixed the rendering issue with the dotted box for encrypted parts.
. Fixed an issue in multiple encrypted Assemblies. The second assembly creation was failing for the case where an existing encrypted assembly existed.
- Fixed an issue with geometry creation through 2D drawing like extrude, revolve, and so on.
- Fixed an issue where the CustomComponentXXX parameters had PARM_NOT_EVALUATED flag set in the itemdef.ael file.
- Fixed an issue in coax port where the wrong negative voltage was used in circuit simulation.

PathWave EM Design 2022 aligns the FEM engine with PathWave ADS 2022. It includes a new Sparse Direct Solver (SDS) for FEM, reducing simulation time for large designs. In addition, scale bar colormaps are provided for improved visualization, several 3rd party tools were upgraded, and various bug fixes are included.
