The NX Nastran solver is the backbone of the simulation suite. NX and SolidEdge have integrated pre-processors that allow you to create finite element models that are fed to the NX Nastran solver. Results from NX Nastran can then be post-processed within NX or SolidEdge.
Motion kinematics and dynamics, static and dynamic stress, crash, NVH, and thermal are among the many capabilities of NX Nastran. CFD Flow and thermal solvers are available too.
