Mathworks MATLAB R2017(a)b Update (3)9

Mathworks Matlab is a technical computing environment providing advanced analyses, data visualisation, and the framework to develop bespoke algorithms. The open MATLAB language enables the sharing of ideas and the development of solutions. Interfaces to other programming languages, including Fortran and C, are provided.

With more than 600 mathematical, statistical, and engineering functions, MATLAB gives immediate access to high-performance numerical computing. This functionality is extended with interactive graphical capabilities for creating plots, images, surfaces, and volumetric representations.

The functionality is further extended with add-on toolboxes; the NAG, Maple, Symbolic and Signal Processing toolboxes are available on this service. Simulink, which provides a graphical design environment for modelling and simulating complex control, DSP, and supervisory logic systems, is also available on this service.

MathWorks is the leading developer of mathematical computing software. MATLAB, the language of technical computing, is a programming environment for algorithm development, data analysis, visualization, and numeric computation. Simulink is a graphical environment for simulation and Model-Based Design for multidomain dynamic and embedded systems. Engineers and scientists worldwide rely on these product families to accelerate the pace of discovery, innovation, and development in automotive, aerospace, electronics, financial services, biotech-pharmaceutical, and other industries. MATLAB and Simulink are also fundamental teaching and research tools in the world's universities and learning institutions. Founded in 1984, MathWorks employs more than 3500 people in 15 countries, with headquarters in Natick, Massachusetts, USA.
