Next Generation of A-LFNA

PathWave WaferPro adds support for the new generation Advanced Low-Frequency Analyzer E4727B.

A-LFNA E4727B dramatically improved key system performance, such as frequency bandwidth, noise floor, and measurement speed.
The following capabilities are added in both the new generation of Advanced Low-frequency analyzer E4727B and the former E4727A:

Measurement
- Real-time data display
- Saving of post-processed data etc.

Data viewer
- Improved data update speed
- Supported AF/KF extraction
- Support arbitrary file name for statistical .csv file
- Support of mean & median output in statistical .csv file
- Support context output in statistical .csv file
- Add shot noise compensation etc.

Bug fixes
- Fixed 4156C issue for long term measurement iteration
- Fixed Sir calculation for resistor device
- Fixed <1Hz measurement for circuit devices
- Fixed RLOAD calculation for 0.01 factor etc.

Other WPE Enhancements

- PathWave WaferPro adds support for the Keysight IO Libraries Suite 2020 and newer versions on Linux Red Hat Enterprise 7.
NOTE: PathWave WaferPro does not support any earlier versions of Keysight IO Libraries Suite on Linux, only the new Keysight IO Libraries Suite 2020 version and newer are supported.

- Python InstrVar class enhanced to accept two arguments, path and field name. In addition, The original class instantiation with a single argument now accepts slashes in the fieldname part of the path as well.
- Python modules structure changed to support external Python functions.
- New Python API function load_python_module() introduced to enable reload of external Python modules.
- New WPro_lookup_info() commands added for run-time test plan monitoring.
- The value of Step Delta Temperature for Temperature Stepping Control can be set by user.
- The Realignment in "Wafer" Stabilization can be disabled by user.
- The Realignment in "Thermal" Stabilization can be disabled by user.
- Temperature Stepping Control can be disabled by user.

Changes
- Factory-provided Routines loading timing was changed to support next A-LFNA release.
- Added sub config file support for System Modules (A-LFNA).

Issues Fixed
- Fixed issue of sampling measurement not working with VSU and HPSMU on 4155/4156.
- Added 'DISABLE_UNUSED_UNITS' System Variable as turn-off option to get back to old behavior.
- New default value for B1500/B1505 Data Output format changed from 4-Bit to 8-Bit.
- Fixed issue of B1500 SYNC measurement using slot-1 unit as a non-master.
- Fixed the issue of IF Bandwidth to include 1 MHz to 15 MHz as possible values for the PNA instruments.
- Fixed the issue of Input values that could not be set as String-type from PEL.
- Fixed the tablevar Python API function for get_val().
- Wafer Loading Angle is now saved in project files.
- Fixed the issue of save to *.ds was not correctly saving data from transforms.
- Fixed the precision issue, where the default precision was set to 4. Now, the default precision is set to 6.

System Requirements

The following are the software and hardware requirements that should be fulfilled by the target system:

Operating System
- Windows 7 (64-bit)
- Windows 10 (64-bit)

CPU: Intel Pentium 4 or higher, AMD XP 3000 or higher.
Display: High-resolution color only (XGA (1024x768), 15-inch monitor minimum). At least SXGA (1280x1024) is required for Extraction packages and A-LFNA Noise measurements.
RAM: Minimum is 4GB RAM, recommended 8GB RAM
Hard disk: Minimum 1.5 GB required for complete installation.
PDF Viewer: Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 or higher to view the PDF files.
