Keysight Model Builder (MBP) 2020.1.0

The Keysight EEsof EDA development team is pleased to announce the availability of Model Builder (MBP) 2020 Update 1. This release adds the support for AgeMOS simulation and model tuning by invoking native Spectre.

New Features and Enhancements

- Supports AgeMOS simulation and model tuning.
. Supports AgeMOS model simulation in PathWave Model Builder (MBP) by invoking external Spectre.
. Supports compact model, subckt model or binning model as a core model.
. Supports HCI, BTI or composed HCI and BTI with core model.
. Provides default example project with pre-defined IMV plots: Vth/Idsat vs. time, delta Vth/Idsat vs. time, etc.
. Supports extend simulation for instance parameters and time.



- Displays a warning message if data loaded does not match the PathWave Model Builder (MBP) default analysis .

Defects Fixed
- Fixed the issue that the Delete Netlist Files option does not work for MOSRA simulation.


Model Builder Program (MBP) is a one-stop solution that provides both automation and flexibility for high-volume model generation. The software includes automated extraction packages for industry standard models as well as an open interface for modeling strategy customization. Besides compact models, Model Builder Program also supports the macro (subcircuit) model and Verilog-A model. It provides automatic extraction packages. The script environment enables extraction flow customization, device target definition and GUI operations. With its superior optimization technology and advanced features, Model Builder Program provides the most comprehensive, accurate and efficient modeling solutions, especially for silicon devices.
