Intel Parallel Studio XE 2018 Update2

Intel Software have launched their latest version of Intel Parallel Studio XE 2018 Update 2. Intel Parallel Studio XE tool suite simplifies the design, development, debug, and tuning of code that utilizes parallel processing to boost application performance.

Intel Parallel Studio XE 2018 Update 2 - Release notes:

- Added support for Xcode 9.2.
- Faster shared memory communication for collective operations in Intel MPI Library.
- Intel Advisor allows visualization of multiple Roofline analysis results on the same chart to compare performance before and after optimization.
- Call Intel Threading Building Blocks from your Python code with a module for multi-processing numeric computations (in technical preview).
- Intel VTune Amplifier's Application Performance Snapshot adds new data selection options and pause/resume API support.

Changes in Update 2 (Intel C++ Compiler 18.0.2)

- Exposed a new peroperty in Visual Studio "C/C++ Language Support" with full set of /Qstd option values for all supported in IDE plug-ins Intel compiler versions (18.0, 17.0, 16.0)
- Deprecated “Enable C++11 support (/Qstd=c++11)” and “Enable C99 support (/Qstd=c++11)” properties in all supported VS versions (VS2017, VS2015, VS2013)

- Fixes for reported problems
