Geometric DFMPro 4.3 for NX

Geometric, a specialist in the domain of engineering solutions, services and technologies, has released 4.3 version of DFMPro for NX, is an embedded DFM Software fully integrated within Siemens NX interface, extending NX Check-Mate capability to address manufacturability checks.

It is the only DFM software in market integrated inside CAD, allowing you to address design for manufacturability and assembly issues during the early design stage. The results can be visualized and interpreted conveniently in a 3D environment, making DFM validation process highly simple and cost effective.

Rules

Recommended Molding Tolerance
For ease of manufacturing, tolerance for plastic molded parts should be as a recommended default. The newest Injection Molding identifies respective mold dimensions from the CAD model, reads the associated dimensional/geometric tolerances and validates the same against the configured value.
Minimum Draft Angle
An essential aspect of plastic part design, this Injection Molding rule has been enhanced in the latest release. For improved productivity and reduced cycle time, DFMPro now recommends a draft angle for side core.
