ESI VA One 2023.5 | 2.0 Gb
ESI Group, a leading innovator in virtual prototyping software and services for manufacturing industries, announces the new version of VA One 2023.5 is an interactive software program for the analysis and design of vibro-acoustic systems.
What's new in VA One 2023.5
The VA One 2023.5 release has several key enhancements especially related to model organization and creation of SEA models from FE geometry. Of special note are the ability to plot and export custom user-defined contour plots, move a sectioning plane to a selected node, and use an encryption feature to protect confidential material properties.
Highlights of this release:
General and Model Organization
- Plot and export custom contour plots
- Encryption option to suppress confidential material properties
- Assign random colors to imported properties
- Control size of Double Wall junction using slides in 3D window controls
- Performance improvement copying large amounts of results from plot
SEA Modeling
- Move sectioning plane in any orientation to selected node
- Shells created by "Find Planar Regions" retain (FE) physical property info
- Performance improvements line junction calculation
- Performance improvements tolerant point junction creation for large models
FE / BEM Modeling
- Free edges visible only on the selected FE face(s)
- VA One reads point masses and material properties from VPS (*.PC) files with equivalent support to NASTRAN
- Improved ABAQUS converter
- Improved menu options for importing and using modal results and modal damping
Load Cases
- Added Load Case Solving for Ray Tracing
- GRID VA One supports load cases
ESI VA One is a single environment for vibro-acoustics analysis and design. It allows engineers to perform accurate predictive noise and vibration design assessments early in the design cycle to meet product performance objectives. Users can meet aggressive design-time constraints, ensuring engineering decisions can be made when they most benefit the demands of a multi-disciplinary development environment. The VA One environment is accessed from a standard user interface, covering the full frequency spectrum through a set of seamlessly coupled and proven modeling methods. With VA One, users achieve optimal design productivity without the need to deploy separate solutions requiring training for different user interfaces and data exchange between environments.
The VA One 2023 release places a key focus on additional improvements to and acceleration of SEA Modeling, substantial FE updates, and improvements to the robustness and usability of an H-matrix BEM solve option bringing improved solution times and reduced memory as its flagship feature sets. Some key general enhancements that are usable with several methods and types of models were also introduced.
