Dassault Systemes SIMULIA pleased has released an updated (Refresh1 Build 66) Simpack 2018, the leading multibody simulation (MBS) software for mechanical and mechatronic designs.

A new Output Value 'Oil pressure' w as introduced for all design elements using the 'Oil flow ' Output Value.

47845 - Parameter table cells excessively large
- The default sizing mechanism for cells in parameter tables w ould generate a layout w ith cells being much higher and w ider thanw ould be required for show ing the cell content. This issue w as introduced w ith Simpack 2017 and the behavior is now restored to the same correct cell sizing that w as used in Simpack 9.10.

About Simpack. SIMPACK is a multi-body simulation software tool used to simulate mechanical systems. The SIMPACK software is able to analyse vibrational behaviour, calculate forces and accelerations and describe and predict the motion of any complex multi-body system.

The basic concept of SIMPACK is to create the equations of motion for mechanical and mechatronic systems simply by building up a CAD style model (including joints, force elements, etc.) and then applying various calculation techniques, such as a time integration, to obtain a solution for the systems dynamic behaviour.
