- The latest release enables automatic dimensions( linear, arch, radius) creation for all profiles.
- Switch between radius and diameter in just one click by turning diameter mode on/off
- Now it's easy to visualize the construction geometry and real geometry even if you exit the workbench.
- Easily create multi-profile output in a single shot using the multi 3D-Profile feature.
- Status of your sketch is now available in the history tree.
- Trim unwanted drawing easily using the freehand selection tool.

CATIA V5-6 R2020: What's New in Part Design [2020 Release updates]


In this video, we have covered all the updates and enhancements in CATIA V5-6 R2020 Sketcher workbench tool. In this tutorial, we are going to cover all the updates enhancement of Part Design tool in CATIA V5-6 release 2020.
- The new updates to thickness definition enable us to propagate multiple surfaces at a time.
- There is two new option in Shell toolbar Propagate faces to remove & Propagate other thickness faces.
- Edge fillet now allows us to trim the surface by selecting vertices or regular plane surfaces and limit the fillet edge.
- The last update is track creation in Edge fillet. Select the points, give values to each point then trim the edges and tracks will be created in the history tree. This tracks can be used for the future design process.
