Dassault Systèmes , the 3DEXPERIENCE Company, world leader in 3D design software, 3D Digital Mock Up and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions, has released P3 version of CATIA P3 V5-6R2016. This release continues the evolution of the 3DS Version 5 Portfolio, to improve user productivity and overall usability of the products, support the latest versions of Operating systems and Middleware, and allow even smoother transition to 3DEXPERIENCE.

The release emphasizes the continuous strengthening of compatibility and synchronization between V5 and V6, as well as the enrichment of V5 solutions with select V6 technology.

CATIA users benefit from more than 80 enhanced capabilities, delivering new functionality in key areas to drive productivity and interoperability including enhancements in Part Design, Generative Shape Design, Class A, Imagine and Shape, Composites, 3DMaster, and a new Product "Composites Laser Projection". Many of these enhancements are delivered to support coexistence between V5-6R2016 and 3DEXPERIENCE R2016x.
