Chaos Corona 12 Hotfix 2 for Cinema 4D

Chaos Czech a.s., a bussines Chaos Group , is pleased to announce the availability of Corona 12 HF 2 for Cinema 4D . This hotfix brings support for Cinema 4D 2025 and addresses some specific issues.

Corona 12 for Cinema 4D (hotfix 2) - Released on July 2, 2024 (hotfix on Sep 25, 2024)

- Added support for Cinema 4D 2025.
- Replaced partially broken "Max samples" parameter in AO shader with "Quality" and added compatibility handling.
- Fixed issue with Look at in Chaos Scatter not using correct transformation of pointed object when placed in hierarchy.

Chaos Corona is a modern high-performance (un)biased photorealistic renderer, available for Autodesk 3ds Max, MAXON Cinema 4D, and as a standalone application. The development of Chaos Corona started back in 2009 as a solo student project of Ondřej Karlík at Czech Technical University in Prague. Corona has since evolved to a full-time commercial project, after Ondřej established a company together with the former CG artist Adam Hotový, and Jaroslav Křivánek, associate professor and researcher at Charles University in Prague. In August 2017, the company became part of Chaos Group, allowing for further expansion and growth. Despite its young age, Corona Renderer has become a production-ready renderer capable of creating high–quality results.
