Computers and Structures, Inc. (CSI) is pleased to announce the availability of SAP2000 version 24.2.0. This release includes are new cracking (service) design/checks for concrete beams and columns per Eurocode 2-2004 and Italian NTC 2008, optimized tan(theta) for ductile frames under seismic load for Eurocode 2-2004, multiple improvements for IFC import and export, as well as for the API.
Frame Design
A new crack-width (serviceability) design or check has been added to the Eurocode 2-2004 and Italian NTC 2008 codes. This feature is available for beam (M3) design and for the design or check of column reinforcement.
