Blackmagic Design has announced DaVinci Resolve Studio 18.5 Public Beta4. This software adds additional improvements to DaVinci public beta including transcribing support for traditional Mandarin, better vertical resolution quality while remote monitoring, improved control over subtitle export, plus a number of scripting API improvements. In addition, this update adds support for Blackmagic RAW 3.2.

The DaVinci Resolve installer now includes a new standalone application, Blackmagic Proxy Generator Lite. The DaVinci Resolve Studio installer includes the new Blackmagic Proxy Generator and the new DaVinci Resolve Monitoring app.

Colorists can use the new Relight FX to add virtual lighting to a scene. VFX artists can collaborate more easily with support for USD files and work faster with the multi-merge tool.
