This release introduces new features and enhancements that expand the our capabilities, enhance solution accuracy, and reduce time to solution.

Autodesk Moldflow Adviser injection molding simulation software, part of the Autodesk solution for Digital Prototyping, provides wizard-based tools to help validate and optimize plastic part, injection mold, and tool designs before manufacturing begins. Using a digital prototype to simulate the plastic injection molding process helps reduce the number of costly physical prototypes required to design plastic parts and helps get innovative products to market faster and with greater confidence. Autodesk Moldflow Adviser software helps to simplify plastic injection molding simulation and optimize mold features such as gates, runners, and cavity layouts. Intuitive to learn and use, it guides designers, mold makers, and engineers through simulation setup and results interpretation, providing advice on potential defects and suggestions for corrective action. Learn how changes to wall thickness, gate location, material, geometry, and mold designs affect manufacturability. By helping to resolve and clearly communicatepotential problems, Autodesk Moldflow Adviser software enables engineers to confidently design plastic parts.

New Features for 2017.3:

Duplicating study improvement

Duplicate studies has been enhanced so you can customize what to include when you duplicate studies.

Three options have been added to enable you to include results, or not, when using the Duplicate and Save Study As functionalities.

- Duplicate Study - include all result files: creates a complete carbon copy of results which belong to the new study.
- Duplicate Study - do not include any result files: creates a study without copying or linking any existing results.
- Duplicate Study - include results linked from the original study is the legacy and default behavior. The duplication forms a link from the duplicated study to the original study's result files, creating a shared environment specific to results.
