Autodesk Inventor Nastran 2026.2

Autodesk has announced the release of Inventor Nastran 2026.2 is delivers finite element analysis (FEA) tools for engineers and analysts. Simulation covers multiple analysis types, such as linear and non-linear stress, dynamics and heat transfer.

The 2026.2 release of Inventor Nastran improves stability and fixes several issues such as the display of the units for 2D shell results in the canvas.


In this release, the new features and enhancements include:
- Report generation for Linear Buckling studies. For more information, see Generate Report.
- It is now easier to find the files associated with the analysis by right-clicking "Results > Show in folder.".
- Results become outdated when loads or constraints are edited.


- The units for 2D shell results are now corrected in the canvas.
