Autodesk Inventor Nastran 2024 with Offline Help | 4.9 Gb
Autodesk has announced the release of Inventor Nastran 2024. This release improves mesh algorithm, fixes multiple Report generation crashes and resolves several issues in Nastran Solver.
Improvements to Explicit Quasi-Static Analysis user experience
The following improvements were made to the Explicit Quasi-Static Analysis:
- The Load table is modified from “Load scale factor vs Time” to “Load scale factor vs Step”.
- The Load Scale Factor values are user inputs, whereas the Step values auto increment by one when you enter a load scale factor.
- The Number of Steps for the Quasi-Static Analysis is no longer user-editable, and the value is taken from the Load Scale Factor table.
- The Quasi-Static Setup contains the Number of Outputs per step for user input. Which controls the total number of result steps in post-processing.
- Number of Steps is auto-populated from the Load table data.
Improvements in Result visualization for Multi-Axial Fatigue Analysis
The results in Multi-Axial Fatigue Analysis are now named respective to the Load for which the results are available.
Updated Mesh algorithm
Autodesk Inventor Nastran now comes with updated mesh algorithm for better and stable meshing.
Concentrated Mass added to the Ribbon Bar
Concentrated Mass can now be accessed directly from the ribbon bar using the drop-down in the Idealizations command.
The Advanced Options button added to the Solver Surface Contact dialog
The Advanced Options button is added to the Solver Surface Contact dialog enable you to specify parameters such as the frictional stiffness for stick.
Ability to set the Mesh Color to black in Display Options
To be able to easier distinguish meshes, a new Mesh Color option is added to Default Settings > Display Options. When selected, meshes are displayed in black.
Generate Mesh button added to a Mesh Control dialog
You can generate meshes directly in the Mesh Control dialog using the newly added button.
Pin Constraints buttons now contain the cylindrical representation
In the Constraint dialog, when the Pin type is selected, the buttons were updated to have the cylindrical coordinates representation.
Inventor Nastran Support for Cyclic Symmetry
A Cyclic Symmetry section is added to the Options tab of the Analysis dialog.
