The following outline identifies new features and enhancements in the CONNECT Edition v41 Update 2 of AutoPIPE Vessel Build 41.02.00.005.

Enhancements

Saddles Support
- Added base plate thickness calculation. The calculation procedure is based on bearing pressure method as explained in Dennis Moss Handbook (4TH edition).
User Interface: Tube Bundle Layout Design
- Added a new panel with a tree view to select and visualize the bundle components like tie rods and spacers, sliding rails, sealing strips, sealing rods, partition plates and impingement baffles.
User Interface: Miscellaneous
- Added a feature to select ASME VIII Division 2 class 1 or class 2 code (the 2 classes are based on different rules and allowable stresses) for analysis.

Defects
NOTE: Problems described below represent specific issues with specific test cases. It is difficult to succinctly describe a problem and how it impacted the specific test case. If you have any questions about the issues discussed in this report, please contact technical support.

Heat Exchanger
#1013290: TSF nozzle material can't be defined.
#1025578: The diameter of the shell side used is not the one adjacent to tubesheets (vapor belt).
#1025623: Calculation crashes with initial insufficient tubesheet thickness.
#1029146: Tubeside flange is using shell side design pressure to determine the flange rating.
#1031505: TEMA 8th Ed. - Expansion Joint: the equivalent differential expansion pressure is no longer calculated.
Storage Tank
#1025908: Nominal diameter is considered as external diameter not the centerline diameter.
#1025914: The liquid height is not increased by the design pressure.
#1030012: Impossible to add an anchorage for a new tank.
Use Interface
#957663: Leg wear plate missing data to define the geometry.
#1018277: Changing the Pressure Design Code without going into the "Design Condition" tab can corrupt the data file and cause unexpected issues.
#1022546: Vortex Shedding - No "Method" value selected by default, which corrupts the model.
#1025175: The wind and earthquake report options are changed when clicking OK button in the Anchor dialog box.
#1028063: Weight of platform is not included when a negative angle is input.
#1033870: Anchor/Legs: Allowable concrete compression stress is not working properly in US units.
Calculation
#1023271: ADB6 factors are not applied for the load condition calculations.
#1024547: External pressure: user allowable stresses are not retrieved at external temperature.
#1025550: EN13445 appendix G - the value of parameter bGi (effective gasket width) is calculated incorrectly.
2D Drawings
#1022877: The weights for erection and shutdown have been added in the table of weights.
#1022879: The erected foundation loads has been added in the table for a horizontal pressure vessel ( Vessel and Heat Exchanger).
#1022880: The test weight full of liquid has been added in the table for a heat exchanger pressure vessel.
