    Altair Inspire Extrude (ex Click2Extrude) Metal/Polymer 2019.10678 | 2.5 Gb

The Altair product team is pleased to announce the availability of Inspire Extrude (ex Click2Extrude) 2019.10678, consisting of Inspire Extrude Metal and Inspire Extrude Polymer as the next generation environment of the industry leading HyperXtrude suite.

Altair Inspire Extrude 2019 includes the following new features and enhancements.

    - Units-Based Licensing
Altair Inspire Extrude now supports units-based licensing for both solidThinking and HyperWorks customers. To activate
your license, select File > Licensing and enter your credentials in the License Setup window. solidThinking customers have
the option of using Offline Mode so you can continue to run the application when you are not connected to the internet.
Details about how to activate your license are available in the Licensing and Installation Guide.
    New Features: General
    - Measure Tool Enabled in Post-Processing
The ability to measure the distance between two points in a deformed shape is enabled, even during post-processing. This helps the user to measure the deformation in regions/sections of interest.
    - Velocity Plots in Post-Processing
Vector plots are enabled in post-processing to help the user to better visualize vector results such as velocity and displacement.
    - Workflow Videos
Workflow videos are enabled for all tools on most clickable actions to illustrate their use and to help the user understand the features more easily.
    New Features: Metal Extrusion
    - Improvements to Bearing Lines Import
Altair Inspire Extrude allows users to import bearing lines from a file instead of extracting them from the bearing geometry. Often, this is imported in IGES format. This import process is now improved to group the lines into a single part instead of bringing in each line segment as a separate part, making the import process easier.
    - Improvements to Mandrel Mesh
Automatic meshing is improved to create a finer mesh in the mandrel region of the die which helps to capture the mandrel deformation and its effect on profile nose cone more accurately.
    Resolved Issues
    - Improvements to Batch Meshing and Job Submission Process
Minor bugs and inconsistencies with the batch mesh and job submission process were addressed.

    New Features: General
    - File Import Enhancement
The importing of models in IGES format is improved, and entities such as lines come in fewer groups.

The ability to measure the distance between two points in a deformed shape is enabled, even during post-processing. This helps the user to measure the deformation in regions/sections of interest.

    Resolved Issues
    - Material Specification at Inlet BC
The material list shown in the Inlet BC specification is now in sync with the Selected Material list in the Material Database. If a material is deselected from the Selected Material list, this material is automatically removed from the Inlet BC as well. If the user deselects a material that is in use, the user is warned to not deselect it.
    - Polymer Layer Organization
When the user organizes a polymer, the tool and other extraneous parts are moved to a group named "undefined." In the legend table, this "undefined" group is now shown at the bottom, instead of the top, for ease of use. In addition, improvements were made in automatic layer organization.
