    Altair Inspire Extrude Metal / Polymer 2019.4 Build 6194 | 5.5 Gb

Altair is pleased to announce the availability of Inspire Extrude (ex Click2Extrude) 2019.4 Build 6194, consisting of Inspire Extrude Metal and Inspire Extrude Polymer as the next generation environment of the industry leading HyperXtrude suite.

Altair Inspire Extrude 2019.4 Build 6194 - Release notes:

    New Features: General

    Download Offline Help
You can now download and install an offline help package from within the product by selecting File > Help > Download OfflineHelp. You can switch between online and offline help in the Preferences under Workspace > Help.
    Mesh Modes
In this release, the ability to select the type of meshing application is enabled. This includes three modes: Auto, SimLab andHyperMesh. By default, the mesh mode will be Auto. In Auto mode, Inspire Extrude makes the decision on which meshingapplication to use and completes the process.
    2D Plots in Post-Processing
In the post-processing dialog, 2D plots can be generated for each result by creating the necessary callouts.
    Custom Unit Template
Unit systems that apply only to Inspire Extrude are now enabled in this release. This includes Metric, SI, and British units.
    Run Folder Cleanup
The run folder is cleaned up in this release by retaining only the necessary files and deleting the unnecessary ones. An option inpreferences has been added if you would like to keep all of the files.

    New Features: Extrusion

    HTC BC Data
In this release, heat transfer boundary condition data can be applied to the surface of workpiece components in Extrusion.
    Process Optimization
HX-Process computational module is now integrated in Inspire Extrude. This is used for process optimization. This utility should beinvoked after setting up the model for the run. This tool automatically optimizes the process parameters by creating an extrusionlimit diagram from the material and model data to determine the optimized values of ram speed, billet preheat, and billet taper.
    Weld Strength Quality
Weld Strength results are improved in this release. Weld strength quality data is now presented in easy to understand textlegends, ranging from No weld to Excellent weld instead of numerical values.

    New Features: Tool Deflection

    Relief Region Loads
The load faces tool is improved in this release to meet a key requirement for coupled analysis. This requires no load be specified in the free region after the profile loses contact with the tool.Inspire Extrude now ignores the load faces after the bearing contact region.
    Strain Results
Post-processing for Tool Deflection models now includes important strain results.

    New Features: Quenching

    Quench System
In this release, the quench system now allows creation of a single fan and air nozzle.
    TTP Curve
A warning message will be issued to the user if TTP curve information is missing in the quench model during export

Altair Inspire Extrude Metal / Polymer 2019.4 Build 6194

Altair Inspire Extrude Metal / Polymer 2019.4 Build 6194

Altair Inspire Extrude Polymer (formerly Click2Extrude Polymer) software is a simulation-based environment designed to help polymer extrusion companies meet increasing demands to produce complex profiles with tight tolerances, quality surface finishes, and high strength properties at a reduced cost. Altair Inspire Extrude Polymer is a virtual press in which users can visualize material flow and temperatures inside a die during extrusion. Users can then make the necessary changes ensuring balanced flow, while identifying and eliminating product defects.

This webinar gives an introduction of Click2Extrude Polymer . Throughout the presentation you will learn about the extrusion industry, how to properly use Click2Extrude to avoid a number of extrusion defects as well as see step by step demos of the program.

Altair Inspire Extrude Metal (formerly Click2Extrude Metal) software is designed with end users in mind. The entire simulation environment has been improved to address a variety of users. Regardless if you're a beginner or expert or production engineer or process engineer, Altair Inspire Extrude Metal allows for simulations to be performed quickly and accurately sans the complicated tools and interfaces.

Altair Inspire Extrude Metal makes it easy to set up and complete a solid profile extrusion analysis.

Founded in 1985, Altair is focused on the development and application of simulation technology to synthesize and optimize designs, processes and decisions for improved business performance. Privately held with more than 2,600 employees, Altair is headquartered in Troy, Michigan, USA with more than 45 offices throughout 20 countries, and serves more than 5,000 corporate clients across broad industry segments.
