Altair Flow Simulator 19.1.2 | 322.0 mb
The General Electric product team is pleased to announce the availability of Flow Simulator 19.1.2, is an integrated flow, heat transfer, and combustion design software that enables mixed fidelity simulations to optimize machine and systems design.
Altair and GE have signed a multi-year software agreement making Altair the exclusive distributor for GE’s Flow Simulator software. This comprehensive engine system modeling software provides the functionality of numerous tools for fluid systems to enable multi-disciplinary analyses. Altair will leverage its expertise in commercial software deployment and support, broad industry domain knowledge, and global footprint to expand the technology’s adoption.
Developed internally by GE with a modern Graphics User Interface (GUI), GE’s Flow Simulator is a robust multi-grid based solver. It uses the powerful continuity-based Newton-Raphson method, encompassing several numerical techniques that conquer the robustness issues of stiff fluid system designs. It currently serves more than 1,500 users as a single-fluid system modeling tool across the aerothermal and combustion engineering design communities at GE.
Altair transforms design and decision making by applying simulation, machine learning and optimization throughout product lifecycles. Our broad portfolio of simulation technology and patented units-based software licensing model enable Simulation-Driven Innovation for our customers. With more than 2,000 employees, Altair is headquartered in Troy, Michigan, USA and operates 71 offices throughout 24 countries. Altair serves more than 5,000 customers across broad industry segments.
