ARCHICAD 22 Build 3004 with Addons | 4.7 Gb
GRAPHISOFT, the global leader in Building Information Modeling (BIM) solutions for architects, announced that ARCHICAD 22’s global rollout process has begun. The latest version of ARCHICAD improves the architectural design and documentation workflow for building façades. In addition, ARCHICAD 22 introduced significant improvements to its construction modeling, information management and 2D performance.
22 Enhancements in ARCHICAD 22:
- Expression Defined Property Values
This new function in ARCHICAD 22 let users define any Calculation Rule as an Element Property Value and update it automatically, without time-consuming and error-prone manual data entry.
- Layer Mapping with IFC Import
New in ARCHICAD 22 - you can now map the layers of an IFC model to existing ARCHICAD layers! Users can now map the layers of IFC model elements to existing ARCHICAD Layers, preventing the import of unwanted layers to the ARCHICAD project. The Intelligent…
- Import of IFC Properties
Users can now map IFC data to ARCHICAD Properties of the host project! This feature allows all functions that work with ARCHICAD Properties to be applicable to imported elements. For example: Criteria-Based Graphic Override, Collision Detection, Labeling,…
- High Resolution Support on Windows devices
As the resolutions on our monitors evolve, to too must we! ARCHICAD 22 introduces detailed icon sets for Windows users working on 4k/5k screens. These special icons offer a much sharper and detailed user experience.
- Railing Tool Updates
ARCHICAD’s Railing Tool was given a major overhaul in ARCHICAD 21, along with the Stair Tool. Based on customer feedback from that release, we are pleased to announce the following new features:
- Curtain Wall Tool improvements
In an effort to make geometric design easier for architects, ARCHICAD 22 now allows the Curtain Wall Tool to be used for floors and ceilings, as well as panel and sculptural elements.
- Exporting to IFC
ARCHICAD 22 features improvements to the quality and precision of exported Component and Material information when exporting to IFC2x3 and IFC4.
- DWG/DXF file conversions
ARCHICAD 22 reads and writes AutoCAD 2018 DWG/DXF files!
- Smooth Pan and 2D Navigation for Vectorial Model Views
Performance upgrades mean smoother navigation of models in ARCHICAD 22! Performance enhancements mean that the Pan and Zoom feature provides a natural and smooth user experience, even for large models on the Floor Plan, Section, Elevation, Worksheet and 3D…
- Curtain Wall Design Improvements
In an effort to make geometric design easier for architects, the Curtain Wall Tool now supports more accurate design, and maintains a closer adherence to local requirements for documenting and listing.
- Updated Dialogues
New in ARCHICAD 22: Several dialogues have been re-engineered to work faster and more reliably.
- Custom Graphical Labels
New in ARCHICAD 22: You can now select any combination of Drawing Primitives (lines, arcs, polylines), and Text Blocks (even containing Element-related Autotexts), and save them as a Label (just like Save as Object). When placing these newly created custom Labels on any element, Autotext will update automatically.
- Importing NURBS Geometry
ARCHICAD 22 supports the import of IFC model elements that have NURBS (non-uniform rational basis spline) geometry representation.
- Increased performance of Morph elements
In ARCHICAD 22, you will notice significantly improved performance when working with large numbers of complex Morph elements.
- Trackpad Support for Mac
ARCHICAD 22 introduces new gestures when using the inbuilt trackpad or Magic Trackpad accessory.
- Unified Logins
This new feature is short and simple, and will be sure to save you time. When logging into your GRAPHISOFT ID within ARCHICAD, you’ll only need to do it once. Hurray!
- Priority–based Selection Highlights of Walls on Floor Plan
New in ARCHICAD 22: We are pleased to announce that you will notice that 3D geometry intersections of walls on floor plan views have changed – they are now displayed as if they were true 3D projections as far as their connections are concerned. They are also now aligned with the derived quantity take-offs.
- Teamwork Performance
In ARCHICAD 22, Element Reservation within Teamwork has been made faster to help increase your productivity.
- Cinerender Engine Upgrade
In ARCHICAD 22, the internal rendering engine has been upgraded to allow for even more realistic renderings, plus Stereoscopic, 360-degree and dome renderings.
- Stair Tool Documentation upgrades
ARCHICAD’s Stair Tool was given a significant upgrade in ARCHICAD 21, and users have offered suggestions on how it could be made even better. We are pleased to include the following changes and new features in ARCHICAD 22.
- Stair Tool improvements
The Stair Tool in ARCHICAD 22 now includes Stair Headroom Visualisation; Stair Headroom in Collision Detection function; Connection Types for Monolithic, Beam and Stringer Structures; and an Accessory-Only Tread Type for Concrete Stairs.
About ARCHICAD 22. ARCHICAD's remastered Façade Design workflow provides a flexible design environment for architects to create external or internal façades using modular structures and hierarchical, easily customizable patterns. Both traditional and algorithmic workflows are supported, thanks to the improved ARCHICAD-Grasshopper Connection.
The enhanced Profile Editor makes it easy to create intelligent profiles for columns, beams and walls and control the shapes and sizes of their cross sections via BIM parameters. The brand-new Expression Defined Properties vastly improve ARCHICAD’s capabilities to manage the “I” in BIM. GRAPHISOFT’s patent pending Machine Learning (ML) algorithm adjusts 2D navigation to each project’s content and results in a very smooth and responsive navigation.
ARCHICAD 22 also includes Maxon's latest (R19) CineRender engine, providing stereoscopic or 360° spherical renderings; a better Teamwork experience due to faster element reservation; and improved quality and precision when exporting building component information from composite skins and complex profiles - using OPEN BIM standards.
In addition to the features highlighted above, ARCHICAD 22 delivers many other performance and functional enhancements. For more information about ARCHICAD 22, and to sign up for the online streaming of ARCHICAD 22’s world premiere,
