As volume 1 of the series "The Jazz Guitar Trio" is recovered a disc recorded 5 years ago by Ximo Tébar: "Hello Mr. Bennett". There are several reasons why this album, the relaxed atmosphere of a jazz club (in this case the infamous Cafe Populart in Madrid), the role of the master of the organ Lou Bennett, and the outstanding presence of the blues (Which opens and closes the disc), a language that few dominate like Ximo and Lou knew its most pure essences.
It is always a luxury to listen to that peculiar style of Lou, his "diabolical left foot" (as Juan Claudio Cifuentes called it) marking the basses, those unsuspected sounds extracted from the organ in subjects like "Old Folks", one of his favorites, and In addition, on this occasion his master lessons are perfectly seconded by Ximo. An album full of moments of magic that perfectly exemplifies the priceless debt of Spanish jazz with Lou Bennett.

Varias son las razones que hacen especialmente gratificante este бlbum, ese ambiente relajado que transmite una actuaciуn en un club de jazz (en este caso el entraсable Cafe Populart de Madrid), el protagonismo del maestro del уrgano Lou Bennett, y esa destacada presencia del blues (que abre y cierra el disco), un lenguaje que pocos dominan como Ximo y del que Lou conocнa sus mбs puras esencias.
Siempre es un lujo escuchar ese estilo peculiar de Lou, su "diabуlico pie izquierdo" (como lo denominaba Juan Claudio Cifuentes) marcando los bajos, esos insospechados sonidos que extraнa del уrgano en temas como "Old Folks", uno de sus favoritos, y ademбs en esta ocasiуn sus lecciones magistrales son perfectamente secundadas por Ximo. Un disco lleno de momentos mбgicos que ejemplifica a la perfecciуn la impagable deuda del jazz espaсol con Lou Bennett.
