Although better than Ultimate Ozzy, Live & Loud still has noticeable flaws. The video's best segments are actually amusing side comments from Osbourne and the band, rather than any of its songs. Live & Loud isn't even a real live performance; instead, the video uses excerpts from many shows and dubs in the live recordings from the album release. Considering that this was supposed to be Osbourne's last tour, one would think he would want to give the fans an actual live concert video rather than a simple visual version of his latest live album. For those who have the disc or cassette release, Live & Loud is not recommended. In fact, it should only be recommended for the more dedicated Ozzy fans.
