A few months before his suicide, Kurt Cobain delivered to us, to some extent, his will by the means of this ô how much MTV Unplugged In New York celebrates. And what a will! Here, not of saturated guitars grunge, of cries rageurs and enormous blows of clear case. Only 14 songs (including 6 recoveries) full with loneliness, sadness and despair. Cobain seemed to be at the time of this evening, the most unhappy man of the world, interpreting these compositions either in a way sober and selected ("Numb", "Polly"), or by expressing deeper of its tripe its pain ("All Apologies", "Where Did You Sleep Last Night"), of a voice which did not never appear also beautiful and authenticates, sometimes accompanied by violoncello. Ah! "Butt A Girl" and its guitars enivrantes, sublimate it begun again of "The Man Who Sold the World" of Bowie, the fatalist "One A Lime pit", "Plate" and its instrumental part, the interesting version of "Pennyroyal Tea"… Eternal regrets.
