Robert Babicz is preparing to release his fourth studio album, Immortal Changes.

The producer formerly known as Rob Acid has been a firm fixture on the German techno scene since the beginning of the '90s, although latter day dance enthusiasts may be more schooled in Babicz' output under his own name during the second half of '00s.

Aside from the 2009 released "Astor," and the hefty "Darkflower" single—which was remixed by Joris Voorn to devastating effect back in 2008—Immortal Changes is comprised of brand new material which the man himself sums up as an ode to world travel. "Through all the traveling around the world as a live act, I meet great people, I see so many fantastic places, and so on," Babicz explains. "On most of the tracks there are real atmosphere recordings, which I recorded on my travels… So it's like a world tour when you listen to the album."

Immortal Changes also represents a cementing of the relationship between the Cologne-based producer and Marc Romboy's Systematic Recordings, who in addition to numerous single releases since 2007, put out A Cheerful Temper, Babicz last full-length album offering.
