LU - Álbum (2006)

It's not a wonder that the duo known as "Lu" was nominated for so many awards with their first album. They are talented songwriters and great performers. Paty Cantú and Mario Sandoval's music is rich and their lyrics are straight from the heart. Lu's harmonies and style are truly unmatched in today's Latin pop scene. They are among the most talented writer-musicians singing in Spanish today. The 2 solos by each of the members of this excellent duo are a rare and special treat in this "Album". The first single, "La vida después de Ti" and the song "Sin un adiós", both written by Paty, are true stand outs. These two songs seem to tell parts of the same story in a very personal way. Paty and Mario are each accomplished composers and have written songs recorded by other artists, such as Alejandra Guzman. But they have saved some if the best for themselves. This is a must for any Latin music lover. "La vida después de Ti" will grow on you in a way that only a classic love song can.
