A recording with Erkki-Sven Tüür’s violin concert, dedicated to her, (City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Paavo Järvi) was published for ECM records and was acclaimed with great enthusiasm. Further recordings – for Philipps Classics – contain works by Haydn, Mozart, Vieuxtemps and Saint-Saëns as well as Strawinsky’s duo works with Olli Mustonen. For Koch-Schwann Isabelle van Keulen recorded Lutoslawski’s “Chain 2”, Schnittke’s concert for viola, Dutilleux’s “L’arbre des songes” and the complete works of Max Bruch for violin, viola and orchestra. The Swedish label BIS produced several duo CDs with Ronald Brautigam as well as recordings of the concerts by Mendelssohn. Recordings recently published are a duo CD with Ronald Brautigam dedicated to works by Elgar, Grieg and Sibelius (Challenge Records) as well as a recording of Berg’s violin concert with the Göteborg Symphony Orchestra under Mario Venzago (Chandos).

In the field of chamber music, Isabelle van Keulen additionally continues her highly successful duo collaboration with pianist Ronald Brautigam. In 2010, she and Ronald Brautigam celebrate 20 years of duo performances with cycles of all of Beethoven’s violin sonatas e. g. at Konserthuset Stockholm.

She plays a Joseph Guarnerius del Gesu violin from 1734 and her viola is made by Peter Greiner.
