Duff McKagan - Believe in Me (1993)

Well, it seems that Duff Is truly inspired form all his time spent with Gun N Roses. His first solo album is a mix of good classic hard rock and mellow songs. The album kicks of with an amazing classic rock song that goes in to some easy on the ear stuff, but the time it hits track 4 he comes out with a belter of heavy guitars and electronics. The album is very consitant in it's music and his lyrics, with different giutarist and vocalist on most song.The slower song can be abit boaring at first but give it time and you will come round to it. It is a truly brilliant atempt and very worth bying,more… and it is one for the collection. It does look like he has had a lot of help from old friends (Slash etc) but well worth having. If you want good all round classic hard rock album this is the one for you.
