Cordas do Sol - Rebas

Cordas do Sol is a band from Cape Verde's Santo Antão island that was founded in 1994. Their vocal, acoustic and percussion combination is inspired by the traditional Son Jon rhythms. It contains purity of sound, sensitive texts and humor. Having established themselves in the archipelago, they were taken under the wing of France's Lusafrica label. New musicians with female singer came along and in 2009 was released their third studio album, Lume D Lenha with promoting song, Rébas.
