Steam is the original soundtrack of a Turkish film using the music of two Genoese composers, Aldo De Scalzi and Pivio, who go by the name of Transcendental. Using traditional influences derived from Sufi trance ceremonies along with shimmering electronics, Middle Eastern percussion, and impassioned vocals, Transcendental's distinctive ethno-ambient electronica is both exotic and deeply compelling.
