The Niceguys - The Show (2010)

The album is a tes­ta­ment to the group's devel­op­ment. The album that was orig­i­nally aimed at being a jovial, light­hearted party album saw a meta­mor­pho­sis dur­ing the pro­duc­tion that resulted in a mul­ti­lay­ered offer­ing, rang­ing from the cel­e­bra­tory brag­gado­cio of tracks like "Toast," to the pow­er­ful, rock-inflected "Mr. Perfect," and the word play flip­ping "Good Shepherd." On the pro­duc­tion side, the album also shows a pro­gres­sion in the group's sound, as Cristolph and Free deftly mix sam­ples and live instru­men­ta­tion to give the entire project a cohe­sive feel.
