An egyptian themed concept CD ….an ambient / electo / ethno /rock / psychedelic excursion which also features electric guitar by SoLaRiS. The song Amun-Ra reached the No 1 spot at Sonys Acid Planet website… The 12 Gates refers to the traversing of the Twelve Gates of the underworld ….. a journey of rituals,death and resurrection in ancient Egyptian philosophy and beliefs.

SUFISM is the inner or mystical dimension of Islam. A practitioner of this tradition is generally known as a Sufi
QAWWALI is a form of devotional Sufi music.

Beginning with the light and travelling!

A homage to psychedelic spacerock goodness! This is SoLariS's more heavier spaced out side!

The title song 'Psychonaut' is dedicated to all Electro Krautrock fans…….be warned this song in particular is very different to most other ambient works by SoLaRiS and is heavily influenced by the likes of 'Shpongle' 'Heldon' / Richard Pinhas , Klaus Schulze, Ashra Tempel & Magma.

A more eclectic styled trance/Sci Fi/Psytrance featuring the sounds of the Theremin and extensive use of Camelphat FX.

Multi instrumental east and west fusions of electro , ethnic, psychedelic , progressive styles. Credit to Yuroun for the synth loop on 'Opener Of The Ways' and 'Hall Of Maat' over at Tapegerm. Flutes and ethnic stringed samples etc….. care of Magix.

Ambient eperimental darkwave electronica may be the best desription for all of the music on ' 'Mostly Haunted' but with other lighter elements too. Some tracks are pretty experimental minimalistic rock veering towards the likes of Art Zoyd , Peter Frohmader and Heldon on occasion.

More of my own brand of Ambient and world fusion to transport you to inner and outer realms. Enjoy!

'Earational Behavour' covers a lot of diverse styles from the Trance induced opener 'Trancefusion' to the Electro Psychedelic rock of 'No Trespassing' while also venturing into the neo classical avant garde with splashes of King Crimson on the likes of 'Earational Behavour 1' Not forgetting the tripped out supernatural ambience of 'Where Dark Forces Meet' .

BEAUTIFUL DARKNESS is as the title suggests. An electro rock / trance / minimal proressive fusion with the accent on dark themes and other worldly/spacey/ psychedelic explorations - - - - the quest continues!
