Richard Thompson - Rumor & Sigh 1991

Richard Thompson is a British living legend. He come to prominence with Fairport Convention and left to record his first solo album "Henry The Human Fly" a long time ago. Since then he has produced a canon of truly brilliant work. Initially he recorded as a duet with his wife Linda Thompson and after their divorce in his name only.

Not only is he one of the best songwriters period, he is a great vocalist and above-all, one of the world's best guitarist, both on electric and acoustic. Here, the acoustic mastery is demonstrated on "1952 Vincent Black Lightning".

This is, as its a Thompson album, a must have.
