Rachid Taha (born September 18, 1958 in Sig, Algeria) is an Algerian singer and activist based in France who has been described as "sonically adventurous." His music is influenced by many different styles such as rock, electronic, punk and raï.
This is Rachid Taha first solo album after breaking up from his band Carte de sejour (Green Card). It is not as explosive as his later works (Ole Ole, Made in Medina), nevertheless, its an exellent album with great music. In the mean time, go and buy this album and you wouldnt be disappointed. ~Amazon
