This is the first time ever on CD for Peter Brown s Snap album originally released in 1984, Fully expanded with 6 bonus tracks Re-mastered from the ORIGINAL MASTER TAPES at Battery Studio s New York by Sony s Sean Brennan A native of the Windy City suburb of Blue Island, Brown was born on July 11, 1953 and was the first artist to have a million-selling 12 single with Do You Wanna Get Funky With Me in 1977 Following its release, Brown co-wrote Madonna s signature song Material Girl and also penned Maybe It Was Magic for Agnetha Faltskog before retiring from the music business due to tinnitus, starting a family and a successful design firm. Long unavailable for too long, Snap is at long last available in newly re-mastered form, an event for long time Peter Brown fans and lovers of great, unheralded music in general.
