On Arborescence, OT insinuate grooves under your skin while guitars, flutes, and synthesizers dance gleefully around the rhythms. It is ambient music crossbred with alien dance music, and it is marvelous stuff.
Overall this album is dripping in heavy grooves with loads of synth soundscapes, flute, driving bass and drum interplay and of course that unmistakeable flirtaceous wierdness associated with the OZRIC TENTACLES. Overall "Arborescence" is an excellent album with some pretty trippy grooves and mind altering musicanship… best understood with a warm lava lamp.
