When on May 8, 1945 Germany capitulated unconditionally, the world started to learn about the Nazis' concentration camps and was shocked by the most unutterable crimes in history. On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Germany's liberation, young German-Jewish conductor Daniel Grossmann presents two rarely heard works from the 20th century – both using the spoken word and both somehow connected with the shock of Auschwitz. Jochen Striebeck who is a well-known actor in Germany brings a stifling reality to the German texts.Tracks:
