Marko Tolja - Vrijeme brise istinu

Marko Tolja is a young Rijeka-based musician who is simply attracting attention by his extraordinary vocal abilities, good looks and charming appearance.
He is 24 years old and has been musically educated from a very young age, first by his uncle, well known Rijeka musician Davor Tolja and later he completed the Ivan Matetic Ronjgov music school in Rijeka.
The young man from Rijeka who had been listening and singing jazz and swing his whole life had decided to follow in the footsteps of musical giants like Frank Sinatra, Pauk Anka, Michael Buble and others and had made his dream of making an album become reality with the help of producer Olja Desic and a large number of associates, top pop and jazz artists: Elvis Stanic, Ante Gelo, Henry Radanovic, Branimira Gazdika, Ivana Pesut, Joe Kaplowitz, Goran Rukavina and others. His first ever album titled Good Old Tunes (Stare dobre stvari) came out in November 2007 on the Aquarius Records/Maraton label.
The album is of a jazz/swing atmosphere and apart from original songs it also contains several Croatian classics but arranged in a different way. The most listened to were Déja vu, Putujem (I Am Travelling), Stare dobre stvar (Good Old Tunes), Program tvog kompjutera (The Program of Your Computer)…
