This is the newest release (2008) in the Doctor Ebbetts Sound System catalog of flawless needle-drops made from the best pristine/mint condition vinyl sources. Attention: THE PRESSING OF LED ZEPPELIN II IS NOT A ROBERT LUDWIG DISC. These 4 US pressed Atlantic label pressing's of Led Zeppelin I-II-III & IV (Zosos) are exactly as Dr. Ebbetts described in his discription of the fine LP's.

As a very young guitarist when the first LP got into my hands I played the hell out of it to learn as much of the Jimmy Page solos and songs so that I could perform live with my hard rock band. Which in fact I did, in many clubs through upstate NY and parts of Pennsylvainia during the 1968-71 era before I went off to Music College (circa 1972-76) in Boston, Mass.

These are the finest representation of the actual US pressed Vinyl recordings from the Atlantic recording label that could have ever been captured as I remember the hours upon hours of listening and perfecting the Jimmy Page guitar riffs that made this band such a wonderful group that it had become.

So if you "REALLY" want to hear these albums the way they should have been heard (which would have made my life easier learning the many songs and guitar leads and riffs) the way you and I both would have liked to, dare I say "Experienced" these 4 LP's then by all means -"Ring my friend, I'd say you call Dr Ebbetts" and get these for your collection ASAP!!! You'll mighty be glad that you did.

Notes

Dr. Ebbetts Sound Systems (DESS) is a pirate label specializing in needledrops of The Beatles US and UK releases.
At a time when many audiophiles were unsatisfied with the sound of the official CD catalog, Dr. Ebbetts provided a high quality alternative and gained a loyal following. These remasters sourced from pristine, original vinyl pressings and packaged in faithful reproductions of the original artwork became instant classics and must-haves for aficionados. In 2009, with EMI on the verge of releasing the long awaited, official remasters of The Beatles UK catalog, Dr. Ebbetts decided to put an end to his 14 year-old project. Proclaiming the remasters to be "good enough to make the Ebbetts catalogue solidly inferior," DESS immediately became a defunct label. Today, genuine DESS releases are highly sought after by fans and extremely prized among collectors.

Dr. Ebbetts was a needledropper (a person who rips near mint/mint condition or unplayed vinyl records) who was famous in the bootleg/audiophile communites for his Beatles releases, which are regarded by some as being the best sounding versions of those albums. He retired in 2008 due to the upcoming release of the 2009 Beatles remasters.
