Originally intended as a filler collection while we waited for a new George Harrison album to arrive, this turns out to be a massively great collection of rare Harrison tracks. It's the most listenable non-official CD of his solo material that I've ever had. A really nice compilation. Especially noticeable to me is the live version of "For You Blue", which proves George Harrison's 1974 touring band was his best. It's also as far as I can find, the best sounding live material from that tour available - it is genuine soundboard.
The quality of the songs and his singing and guitar playing on them all prove his greatness. It's like having a very good sampling of all his periods of releasing music up until the mid-1990s.
