I was the host of an outdoor Bluts Dayatthe Martin Luther King,Jr. Center in Atlanta,Georgia about fifteen years ago,and for some reason this day was special.I introduced several acts,waiting for the big blues act of the day, James Cotton and his Band. But before Cotton hit the stage,I introduced a band and I couldn‘t evenpronounce the leader‘s name.I quickly learned,and I will never forget it. This guy played die Blues and commanded the stage like no one I had ever seen or heard before.After the concert, we were introduced, and he said “You now, you don‘t play my CD on your show“. My response was ‘That‘a not s problem anymore“.Since that time Theodis Ealey and I have forged a great friendship. he‘s none of the best l‘ve seen and heard in the business.Bar none.I‘ve been through several CD wis him, and he continues to amaze me at his talents.This CD is no different.When you listen to this CD, you‘ll listen to pure blues that only special people can sing.Theodis is one of those special people,and I congratulate hirm on another job well done for the Blues Fans of the world, including me.
